Billing information

Noosa Radiology has invested in the most advanced imaging technology.

Whilst many examinations are bulk billed, an out-of-pocket expense (gap) may apply. Patient fees charged by Noosa Radiology are consistent with providing quality imaging services. Fees vary between imaging modalities and procedures. The Medicare schedule of fees represents what the Federal Government is prepared to contribute towards the cost of health services. Unfortunately, it does not always cover the costs of providing high quality care in our clinics. The patient
co-contribution, or gap, is the difference between the cost and the Medicare rebate. Our reception staff will inform you of an approximate cost before your examination.

Please note that not all examinations are eligible to receive a rebate from Medicare and, in those cases, no Medicare reimbursement will apply. In certain circumstances, concession card holders may be eligible for a reduced fee.

Concession cards

We accept these concession cards

If applicable, please bring your current Health Care Card/Pensioner Concession Card to your appointment.

Noosa Radiology requires full payment of the account on the day of your appointment. If the examination is eligible for a Medicare Rebate, a portion will be refunded to you. Our reception team can submit the claim online to Medicare for you. Any refund will be deposited into your Medicare-linked bank account within 48 hours.

Payments may be made by Cash, EFTPOS, Mastercard or Visa.

If you will have difficulty paying your fee, please discuss with our administration team. For billing enquiries, call (07) 5440 9700 during office hours.
