Director of Breast Imaging

With continued growth in our imaging services, we have a great new opportunity for a Director of Breast Imaging.

You will lead the breast imaging service, overseeing clinical standards, service development, and quality assurance. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, sonographers, radiographers, and referring clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Noosa Radiology is the largest independently owned radiology clinic on the Sunshine Coast. We are committed to delivering high-quality imaging and patient-focused care by remaining at the forefront of new imaging techniques to benefit our doctors, referrers, and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert interpretation of mammography, contract enhanced mammography, breast ultrasound and MRI.
  • Perform image-guided breast procedures including biopsies and localisations.
  • Lead clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support radiology staff and trainees.
  • Drive innovation and service development in breast imaging.
  • Collaborate with referrers and external specialists to enhance patient care pathways.
