Noosa & Gympie Radiology provides a comprehensive range of imaging and procedural services including MRI, CT, nuclear imaging, breast imaging, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, BMD, dental imaging, and general x-ray. PET installation is expected in Noosa in Q4 2023. We are fortunate enough to have a wide case mix from local GP’s and specialists in the Noosa and Wide Bay region. We are also involved in the Noosa Hospital oncology MDT and other clinical meetings.

Our Role

With continued growth in our imaging services, we have a great opportunity for a Dual Qualified Radiologist or Nuclear Imaging Physician to join our team at Noosa and Gympie Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality reporting with a primary focus on Nuclear Imaging
• Manage protocols and procedures for Nuclear Imaging departments
• Participate in multidisciplinary team and other clinical meetings to ensure optimal management and care pathways for our patients.
• Participate in clinical trials and research

Our Role

 

With continued growth in our imaging services, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Noosa.

Responsibilities

 

• Perform all Nuclear Medicine procedures on a SPECT/CT camera
• Working alongside all modalities as part of the nuclear medicine team
• Perform Nuclear Medicine work to a high standard in accordance with Australian standards
• Maintain the highest standard of patient care and safety
• Accurately read and interpret referrals and ensure all documentation is completed correctly for each examination
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with our radiologists, radiographers and sonographers, reception team and our patients

 

Essential Criteria

 

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent
• Experience working with SPECT/CT systems essential, and PET/CT systems preferred
• Hold AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, QLD Radiation Licence and/or be eligible for same
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Self-starter and positive attitude
• Ability to work with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
• Strong attention to detail

MSK Fellowship - 2025

We are now accepting applications for our 2025 Fellowship program. 

The opportunity

Our Fellowship Program leverages the strengths of our existing specialists and expert mentors to ensure our Fellows receive access to diverse case exposure and a strong breadth of diagnostic and interventional opportunities.

The Fellowship encompasses all aspects of Musculoskeletal Imaging, with a particular emphasis on MRI, Ultrasound and Intervention including Bursal injections, Arthrography, PRP, Prolotherapy and Radiofrequency Ablation. 

Our facilities have MRI Medicare eligibility and operate 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners. Our facilities operate a busy diagnostic and therapeutic (ultrasound guided injections) MSK service with highly experienced sub-specialist Radiologists.

Noosa Radiology is the largest Radiology clinic on the Sunshine Coast with a comprehensive range of imaging services including MRI, CT, PET, SPECT-CT, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, BMD, Dental Imaging and X-ray. We also offer a broad range of interventional services including Radiofrequency Ablation.

We are an independent, non-corporate group. The day to day direction of the business comes from Radiologist owners and our purpose is to provide a high quality comprehensive radiology service using state of the art equipment to patients in our region.

Our practice is located in Noosa’s largest Medical Precinct where you will be collaborating with a wide range of specialists from orthopaedic specialists to oncologists and general practitioners on a daily basis. The practice also services the Noosa Hospital which is 100 metres away from the Noosaville Professional and Medical Centre.
